Since the beginning of the 12 billion dollar school construction initiative in New Jersey, one universal need has been put fourth – how could the state get the best buildings for the money. Schools, business officials and environmentalists found the answer was in building 'high performance' schools, also called 'sustainable' or 'green' schools.
