Join us on September 27, 2007 in San Francisco, CA for a day full of training workshops, exciting speakers, technical consultations and networking opportunities. Matt Petersen, Global Green USA’s President and CEO, is the keynote speaker for the event. Petersen drives and guides Global Green USA’s new programs, including work on water and energy, green power, climate change, and nuclear weapons. He has led the effort to rebuild the schools of New Orleans, and has been instrumental in Los Angeles Unified School District’s adoption of CHPS’ green building program.

Greentools also boasts an exciting gathering of speakers for the afternoon panel, A High Performance Point of View. Jack O’Connell, California’s Superintendent of Public Instruction, joins Rob Cook, head of California’s Office of Public School Construction, David Thorman, California’s State Architect, and Bill Savidge, Vice-Chair of the Coalition for Adequate School Housing, to discuss where high performance schools are and where they are going.
